Founded by NFTS-qualified Intimacy Coordinator Laura Parkinson-Tuthill, Creative Intimacy combines extensive production knowledge with performer advocacy, safeguarding and consent-led practice.
With more than a decade of experience working within high-end television and feature film production, Laura understands the realities of modern sets and collaborates effectively with performers, directors, producers and production teams to facilitate intimate storytelling safely and professionally.
Laura Parkinson-Tuthill is an NFTS-qualified Level 1 Intimacy Coordinator and a former 1st/Floor 2nd Assistant Director with over 11 years of experience across film and television productions working her way through the ranks of the assistant director department.
Having worked on major productions throughout her career, Laura brings a practical understanding of production workflows while ensuring performer wellbeing remains at the centre of every process.

NFTS Certificate in Intimacy Coordination (Post Graduate)
The NFTS Intimacy Coordination Certificate programme was an intensive six month programme. Laura was among the first practitioners to complete the NFTS Intimacy Coordination Certification Programme. The intensive training developed her expertise in supporting the safe and ethical creation of intimate content for screen, with strong emphasis on consent, collaboration and performer care.
